In my girlhood I experienced sexual abuse and was never afforded the opportunity to properly heal, leaving the events always feeling so new, so present.

As if they had just happened yesterday.

For my undergraduate BFA exhibition I decided to let yesterday in, to talk to yesterday. It was these conversations that allowed me to explore the depths of trauma through written word paired with color theory.
